When a girl commits suicide because of love, will that guy be liable?

The 17 year old girl(Kerala)and 24 year old man(Mumbai keralite)were in a casual relationship via snapchat.( it was consented and there was strict agreement that it will be a casual.) Sexting occurred too. After two splitting up after 5 months, ( aged 18 and 25. ) the girl got serious feelings and fell in love but after knowing it is unrequited, she commits suicide. The man was informed by the girl that she will commit suicide without blackmailing to marry her, but for just to let him know about her demise. Then he was informed by her that she won't commit suicide and be okay. But it was a lie and she commits suicide with a note in her phone stating that no one is responsible for her demise. Will the person get into any trouble after her suicide? Any kind of trouble?

This also is purely for evidence and circumstances of a case under which the legal battle could be involved within the man. The prosecution under Section 306 of IPC for abetment suicide cannot be allowed just in the grounds that the suicide note did contain the written name of the 25-year old man, by the decision of the Delhi High Court. There must be some explicit indication of his act or encouragement that provoked her suicide. If the nexus is not established, then there can be no prosecution against him. Consulting a lawyer and obtaining a legal opinion about such potential liabilities is a must.

The man is possible to get in trouble if the records in the phone indicates that girl committed suicide as she wanted to marry the man. The sexting and other chat can be used to raise another complaint such as POSCO case. t's difficult to say whether he will get into any trouble. The law on this issue is complex and depends on a number of factors, including the specific circumstances of the case. In general, if the relationship was consensual and there was no coercion, Contact us for further enquiry.
