Adultery charges

I am a single girl. I and a guy were in love with each other but we did not get married due to families. He married someone else and one year later he regretted it. His wife was controlling and threatened for divorce. We got close again on emotional level. We have kissed each other 2-3 times after his marriage over a period of 4 years. We have discussed about that kiss on messages. He has asked for an affair and I have always denied it . We have not been physical beyond this . After seeing the messages his wife and her lawyer called me and wants to charge me with adultery. Is it possible. Pls let me know what should i do
