Claim of alimony by self employed wife
My husband had filed a divorce case on the grounds of cruelty in family court which was dissolved by the judge after multiple hearings. Now after trying in vain to stay with him, i want to get divorce as well as an alimony amount from him. But he in his previous court statements, has told that he is unemployed (which is a lie) while, i the (wife) has been working in a private college with salary of 5.5 thousand per month. It has been 4 yrs to my marriage and we are childless. Can i claim alimony.? If yes, how?plz tell

If you want almony from huband file a suit of maintenance under section 125 of the CRPC to cliam maintenanace and also you have to gather the evidence related to the earnign of you huband and if he is earning he will have to bear the expense for both wife and the children, the amount for the alimony is decided by the court, to know more details regarding your query please call on our helpline number.
