Divorce summons
My daughter is in USA on company assignment. We are in Bengaluru. Court summons - on 3 July 2022 by server and 9 July 2022 by Post, second summon by post on 21 July 2022- and are sent to my local address in Sambalpur, Odisha. My daughter does not stay in Sambalpur where the petetion has been filed. We will be in Sambalpur in last week of October 2022. Intention appears to get an ex parte divorce decree. How to prevent such a decree.
Hello sir, as stated above three of the dates of summon is already given therefore, tell your daughter to hire a council who can appear on her behalf, and telll the court that she is in USA and puta valid reason for not appearing.
In these matter court may not issue ex-party decree, is she don't appear continuosly the second party may send dasti notice to her to appear there give knowdledge to the court with the valid reason.
