Filed for Alimony of 1 Crore. How to avoid paying this?
Our marriage lasted for one year with no kids. If i wish NOT TO give her a divorce, stating I am WILLING TO ACCEPT her back, Can i avoid paying this alimony? Since this is not me who want a divorce, it is solely her. I am from a middle class family and cannot afford such a payment. I own a home and she did gave an injunction for my home and my parents home and further asked for 1 crore. She was working abroad, same like me. I have returned to India and i'm searching for a job. She would have resigned by now to make her show as dependent. This is purely a revenge taken out in me. Please advice as i am totally lost in all hope and would end up doing the last path.
