You can first file a FIR for dowry related domestic violence and threat of death. You must can take help from an advocate for legal approach in the court. Under section 80 of BNS Whoever commits dowry death shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than seven years but which may extend to imprisonment for life.
