As per the guidelines of UIDAI, visit the nearest Aadhaar Centre by providing documents such as marriage certificate, proof of address. Complete the aadhaar data update/correction form and submit the form for verification by providing biometric authentication. You need to pay the nominal fees of Rs. 50. Receive the acknowledgement slip with the URN (Update Request Number) for tracking the status online via the UIDAI portal.

Your wife will have to update the Aadhaar card after marriage. She can do that with her name and address on the Aadhaar card. It can be done online as well as offline. Under the online process, she needs to log onto the UIDAI website, enter her Aadhaar number and update the details with her option. For this process, there is also a requirement of uploading documents, like a marriage certificate and so on. For the offline procedure, she can go to an Aadhaar Enrollment Centre, fill the update form, and present the same along with other required documents; this may attract a fee of ₹50.

Sir, to update your wife’s Aadhaar after marriage you should visit the UIDAI website or Aadhaar center by providing them a proof of name change and address proof. Then you should complete the update process online or in-person, with a nominal fee of ₹50. It is advised to consult an expert lawyer who will assist you with the best course of action.
