How much time does it take to get a marriage certificate in India?

Hi Team, I am chetan from jalandhar, punjab. I will be getting married next month to my fiancé who is from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Social Marriage will be Solemnized in jamshedpur only. After getting married we will have only one day in jamshedpur. As per my current discussion with knowns over there its not possible to get marriage certificate in 1 day. Even after coming back to jalandhar they need 2 witness from bride side, which is really very difficult to travel from east to north. Just need expert advice how we can get the marriage certificate in such case which is required for other official documents.
