How to marry a Foreign National in India?
I am an Indian citizen and my partner is a Taiwanese citizen. Is there any provision in which a legal marriage is possible with special marriage act. I am asking this question because both me and my partner lives outside India and it is very difficult to get leave from job. My permanent address is Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
Respected Sir/Maam Under Indian law, a marriage between a foreign citizen and an Indian citizen can be conducted outside of India and still be legally valid, as long as it adheres to the legal requirements of the country where the marriage is solemnized. However, it's recommended to register the marriage with the appropriate Indian authorities for proper recognition. Please feel free to contact our law firm at your earliest convenience.
