Is there a way to reduce hearing date by applying advance petition

I got married on 09-12-2021. It's a hindu marriage and we registered on the same date. We filed for mutual consent divorce on 5-08-2022 stating that we lived together for only 10 days and we wish to get separated for some reasons. We appeared in front of the judge combined court, coimbatore on the same date and the case is filled. Till now i havent got the divorce. I followed up with the lawyer multiple times and got the case number and checked it online. In the ecourt app, the filing date is the same as 05-08-2023 but registeration date is 27-02-2023. First hearing date and next hearing date is 28-08-2023. The case stage is appearance and it is applied under a special marriage act under section 28. I asked my lawyer about this why should i wait for one year for a mutual divorce and why it can't be done in 6 months, he said he will put an advance petition as he had missed some files while filling and to do some corrections and reapply took time.
