What can I do if my parents are forcing me to marry?
I am 25+, my family is creating a lot of mental pressure on me. They want me to get married asap and asked me to find someone too. When I told them about my choice, they said they won't allow this as only they have the right to find and I don't have any say in this. Now they are also not able to find anyone and still not agreeing on my choice, but are causing a lot of mental trauma and due to this I am not able to focus on my job properly. They threaten me that they will make me leave my job and marry me forcefully if I don't listen to them. Can I take protection from my family and stop them from trying to control my life? Can I take any legal action on this as I am getting into depression and get suicidal thoughts due to the constant pressure.
