What does an enquiry officer do

My wife was creating trouble for me and my family so I lodged a complaint against him in police station via post and now I received a message from police station that ENQUIRY officer has been appointed for my complaint… I want to know what will happen next will the enquiry officer come to my home or he will call me in police station?? What are the questions he can ask me… I filed a complaint just for my safety purpose and didn’t want any strict action to be taken against anyone so I am little scared

An inquiry officer is in charge of looking into claims of wrongdoing or infractions within a company, usually in connection with employee disciplinary issues. To ascertain the case's facts, they collect evidence, speak with witnesses, and examine pertinent documentation. The officer makes certain that the investigation process is impartial, equitable, and compliant with organizational or legal protocols. They create a report outlining their findings, conclusions, and suggestions for any disciplinary action after analyzing all available information.

Hello sir,

If you have filed the complaint and the enquiry officer will thus check the validity of the complain he will ask the question to ypu and to the person against whom you have done the complaint thus the question related to the coplaint will be asked.
