What is the punishment for breach of promise to marry?
Sir, I'm 18 y/o I had a relationship with 16 y/o girl, who is a neighbor of me. I left her after one year their parents called me and telling that the girl is 4 months pregnant and they are blaming me. It was not my fault, they were threatening to detain me they asked to transfer our property. after some mutual conversation they ended up making an agreement that I shall marry that girl immediately after she attains 18. I don't want to marry that girl. What will happen if I breach that promise?
