Can I claim for Non payment of variable pay after leaving job?
Hi, I worked with a company and submitted my resignation on 19/05/2023. My company has 2 components of salary (non-sales) one is Fixed CTC other is year end performance linked variable pay. They usually pay the year end variable amount with the salary of April month. However, this year they delayed the variable payment without any information as when would be the variable amount be paid. Now as per their policy if an employee is serving notice period as on day of variable payment. He shall not be eligible for the payment. The point is they don’t have any policy for deciding the date of variable payment. Can I still claim it from them?
