Salary due
This xyz company I joined in April (worked for 10 days) and the whole month of may while i did send a resignation letter on 23rd of may i still worked until 31st due to some reasons. I resigned to sudden health issues and as doctor has asked for discontinuation of work. The company is yet to pay me 37000 and they are saying we will only pay 25 or 27,000 you have to negotiate as you didn’t serve the one month notice period. Is it legal to deduct the money from my salary which were of April and May (notice period was June). P.S. No offer letter ever mentioned about deduction of money and neither did the company owner said so while I put up a resignation mail. They came up with this when I asked for my salary. Any help will be highly appreciated 🙏🏻
