Submission of fake salary slips & experience letter
Dear Team My frnd going to join a company in India (Pvt Ltd ) company and have cleared all the rounds and test conducted by them. They have asked to submit salary slips and resignation acceptance letter. However he left his previous company in 2 months as his mother was sick so had to leave the company on medical grounds and in current company he told them he was working in last company for 1 year and also to get better package he have submitted salary slips showing higher package. Also submitted experience letter in which he have shown experience as 1 year .(Changed the duration ) However before joining the present company came to know about the same from previous company . However he rejected the offer of the present company and did not join them . He realized that he could have been terminated on a later date by the company so he decided not to fake any data going forward . kindly let me know what legal action can previous & new company take ? Also,how he can correct this.

Many of the recuriters request payslip or experience letter, and if the candidate submits fake and fabricated documents which were asked by the company, It may lead to misconduct, under the provision of Industrial Standing Order Act, 1946 and thus employee can take action against that particular candidate.
One can also impose Sec 420, 465, 467, 468, 471 of The Indian Penal Code, you may be fired and this may create permanent negative record.
