What are the remedies for unauthorized deduction of wages?
My previous employer informed me that they deducted 1 day's salary from my FnF on the grounds of a social media post I had done. I am not sure if at all it is 1 day or even more. They have been manipulating words right from the beginning with regards to my paid leave encashment also. Can they legally deduct my legit salary on any grounds?

If you have not done any kind of illegal act or breached the term of employement then they don't have the right to reduce the salary and if they have done this then get a legal notice drafted against the person
