What can I do if company is not giving salary after termination?
My employer is refusing me to give me salary after termination until and unless I sign some documents. Now I don't know what will be there in the documents and if i don't sign I might not get the salary. Is there any Indian law that can help me with it?

Under the Payment of Wages Act, 1936, an employer is required to pay the wages due to an employee within 7 days of the termination of employment. The employer cannot withhold the salary of an employee for any reason except as provided by law. Contact us for further enquiry.
