What can I do if my company terminated me without any prior notice?
Hi sir, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek your legal counsel and assistance in a matter of what I believe to be an unjust and illegal termination from my previous employment. On 22 sept 2023 , I received email of my termination from Market Joy Inc. without any prior notice or warning and stated that Reason for Termination: Client Escalation and Non-Performance also in the event of termination or if an employee absconds, they do not release any documents , but also not provided the any concrete proof of escalation, to the best of my knowledge, is in violation of labor laws and company policies. I would like to highlight a few key points regarding my termination: No Prior Notice or Warning, No Performance Improvement Plan (PIP), Unforeseen Consequences. It is illegal in India to terminate an employee without prior notice or warning, unless there is just cause for termination, such as gross misconduct or insubordination.
