What can I do if salary is delayed by 4 months by employer?
Since November 2022, my current workplace has experienced monthly salary delays, initially by a few days. However, the situation worsened in August 2023 due to a lack of work caused by the company's server being down, resulting from non-payment of dues to AWS. Notably, all employees have been without salary payments since August 2023, amounting to a four-month delay as of today. Despite inquiries, the CEO consistently claims a lack of funds. Moreover, attempts to communicate via email have been met with silence, leaving us without official documentation of his statements. Additionally, the CEO refuses to address the team in a meeting, exacerbating the lack of communication and transparency.
If your employer is not responsive or fails to resolve the issue, you can file a complaint with your local labor department. They can investigate the situation and take action against your employer if necessary. For further enquiry Contact us on helpline number.
