Hi My name is Nitin Rajliwal and I'm Indian citizen. and in End of May 2022 of this year I married a girl from "KOSOVO" . We both married here in Nepal, we got our marriage certificate, and put stamps and signatures of Nepal MOFA and EOI in Kathmandu, and then we try to apply for Indian visa in visa center of Kathmandu, but Kosovo is not in the list of Indian visa application or in visa system. So me and my wife talk to embassy of India here in Kathmandu, and they told us to wait for 2 or 3 months but no results. In the end embassy say, Kosovo is not recognised by India. But we married in Nepal and have Embassy of India stamp. This mean By Indian government so our marriage is legal now. I try to call in Immigration department and BOI and MEA all they told us to Contact Embassy. But Embassy took our time already? But we still don't know what to do else Please sir, We don't know much law and policy of government so please guide us.
India does not recognize Kosovo as the sovereign country. Hence it has become hurdle to obtain the visa for your wife. Though marriage is recognized legally valid, there is issue with the Embassy recognizing the Kosovo in granting the approval for visa. You can approach the higher authorities to consider her giving Indian visa on the grounds of being the spouse of Indian citizen as an exception. Provide the necessary valid documents to consider it such as marriage certificate, Husband Indian passport and visa, place of residence. You can raise your grievance to the MEA to provide solutions and give redressal to the issue faced.

Inorder to get the Visa for Kosvo Citzen you have to Contact to Indian Embassey, there only the visa will be provided to you, if they are denying for such talk to their senior authority or the must have the helpline number where you can contact and clear all your query regarding visa issue.
