PCC toward unpaid Personal Loan

Dear all Please help me in getting the answer if my below question: I have taken loan from one of the private bank 1 year I have paid the installment after that I stopped the payment as i moved abroad. Here I am still in struggling phase and now bank has filled the case with the court (Metropolitan Magistrate ,Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, South-West DWK Stage:Misc./ Appearance) for not paying the loan. Does it make difficult for getting pcc which I have to submit to initiate my pr application. Although my intention is clear all the due but currently its not possible for me

The non payment of the loan can have serious consequence while applying for PCC for PR. They might impose travel restrictions. Engage a lawyer to appear on behalf of you and communicate with the bank for the financial difficulties you are facing.

If you defaulted on a loan and the bank has sued you, then this may be an issue for getting a Police Clearance Certificate to complete your PR application. Getting a PCC involves background checks. The latter can reveal any pending cases against you, including loan defaults. You appear to be intentive to repay. However, things might get tricky because of the case already brought against you. It would, therefore be prudent to seek the advise of a legal expert in this regard who could counsel them on how to handle the situation while perhaps negotiating with the bank when obtaining their PCC.
