Australia immigration laws are stringent in terms of character test under Section 501 of the Migration Act 1958. AWL might raise question about reliability. Provide testimonies from the family, colleagues or superiors to convince the concerned authorities, to provide visa on compassionate ground.

Sir, visa application criteria requires a clean criminal record at the time of police verification and the person who has fulfilled all the requirements as per the criteria may not face such issue. Although your main concern is about the history of your service but be rest assure that it will hardly affect you visa application only in case any criminal record is discovered.
