Visa implications while applying 491 subsequent entrant visa.
Hi, I want to know that I was working in the military in India and my wife is working in Perth as a business analyst I was dismissed and a bad character certificate for being absent without leave during my military term of engagement now my wife is applying for 491 visa and want me to be subsequent entrant of that visa will my dismissal impact on my visa application because the reasons of being AWL are because of they were not giving me discharge due to compassionate ground.
Australia immigration laws are stringent in terms of character test under Section 501 of the Migration Act 1958. AWL might raise question about reliability. Provide testimonies from the family, colleagues or superiors to convince the concerned authorities, to provide visa on compassionate ground.
