Can I file a case against a police officer in India?

In the bike we are following the proper rules. Police came all of sudden and asking people to take u turn for some ceremony. In the process they are being rude like shouting at others and showing lathi(As a blackmail?). It was extremely rude of them and I took a video. Me and my uncle are planning to sue them. Is it possible to sue them and if possible what might be cases against them.
