How can I deal with my ex blackmailing me?

I was in a forceful relationship few days ago. Then it started becoming unbearable & very toxic for me. Now the guy is forcing me to talk to him and stay with him. Also, he has involved his mother in this asking her to request from me. He is blackmailing me that he will leak out some intimate pictures of mine with my ex boyfriend. Also, he tried cutting his wrist to blackmail me that he'll commit suicide, if i will not talk to him. He is mentally torturing me, critically blackmailing me emotionally and mentally. And just threatening me that he will take the revenge because, i am not talking to him. What sort of legal action can i take in this particular scenario because it is going beyond my limits
