How can I recover my money from someone?

Hi i am from Punjab and working as a Software Engineer. I gave around 160000 INR to my friend, I am asking him to return my money but he is still asking me for more money, I suspect he might be into drugs, after sometime I informed his father that how much money his son owes me and he asked me to send list of all transactions happened (all the transactions were happened online via UPI) and he told me he will give money back within one month. Is there a way I can get my money back as soon as possible without involvement of court as I need that urgently as I am planning to reallocate somewhere else.
