What is the next step after legal notice?

I am an Assistant Teacher of a Higher Secondary school. I have sent a complain letter to the higher authority. The complain letter is the detailed information regarding harassment and defamation by my colleagues. I requested an enquiry on the subject matter of my complaint letter and to take necessary action against those persons who harass and defamed me several times. After receiving my letter the higher authority send a letter to the Headmaster of my school. The Headmaster tried to convince me to withdraw complain. But I disagree to do this. I sent a legal notice through an Advocate. Then the higher authority send a letter to the Headmaster and a copy of this letter also forwarded to my Advocate. From this letter I get to know that, without taking any steps the higher authority only demand from the Headmaster to express his(Headmaster) view on my complaint letter. What have to do next?
