What will happen if marriage is not registered?
My in laws are troubling me and I am pregnant but husband is not supportive of having a child. I am living at my parents place for safe delivery as my husband threatened me. Have already got 2 abortions done. This is our second marriage and he has a son from his previous marriage. I wanted to ask what legal rights I have with respect to my child. Our marriage is not yet registered but my adhaar card has been updated with my in laws address. I fear if he refuses to give name to my child and does not bear child's expenses

As you are the wife and if the are doing the abortion forcefully or doing any sexual, menatl or physical cruelty then get a criminal complaint drafted against those person under the section 498A, Domestic violence nad for the offence of illegal abortion.
