I am 20 year old female living in akola, maharashtra, i want to do court marriage with my boyfriend. We are both of legal age. Can we do court marriage without notice being sent to our families? Can we get married in 1 day?
Yes, if you both have attained legal age then you both can perform marriage followed by proper legal procedure. If you both are from same religion then no notification will be sent to your families but in Special Marriage Act the notice is sent to the parents of both parties.
