If both parties agree to resolve a case under Section 366 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), they should approach the court and inform the presiding judge of their mutual intention to settle the matter amicably. The court may allow for a compromise, and the case can be withdrawn with the court's permission. Legal advice from an attorney is crucial to navigate this process effectively.

If the parties to a case under Section 366 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) agree to settle the case, they can do so by filing a petition for compromise with the court. The petition must be signed by both parties and must state that they have agreed to settle the case on certain terms and conditions. The court will then consider the petition and decide whether to approve it. Contact us for further enquiry.
