What is the process of marriage under SMA?

Hi there , I want to marry in July and want to know whether I can marry under Special Marriage Act . Both of us are Hindu , but the reason we are not going with Hindu rituals is because of some condition on Bride's side . Can you please let me know if this is a possibility as I would need to apply for VISA for my partner for Germany and they will very the marriage authenticity specifically.
