Can a GPA holder file a complaint?

My mother has purchased the Site from the GPA holder in the year 2000. The GPA was Notarized and an affidavit was made in the year 1990. We have been paying taxes since 2000 to till date. The House is constructed and we have been renting the house. Now we have been informed that the property is under litigation and an additional judge with case of GPA is showcased in Land records. Its a B Khata Site. Kindly advise will we have any legal issue. Can we fight legally. We have Original GPA and Sale Deed.
