Can multiple tenants' names be included in a rental agreement legally?

I have given my Duplex individual house for rent in Bangalore to a family of 4 adults( Parents and 2 adult children) Though they belong to the same family, they are insisting on mentioning their names separately in the rental agreement, can I mention multiple names in the tenants section using 'and' followed by their names? Is it legal to have multiple tenants’ names for a residential house? Can it cause any future problems to the landlord? What is the format for drafting multiple names in tenants’ section? can I use the word "and" followed by the individual names? Please help!

Sir, you can include multiple names in the tenant’s section of a rental agreement for your duplex house in Bangalore. It is legal to have multiple tenant's names for a residential property as it will clarify responsibility and prevent future disputes. For further legal assistance contact us on our helpline number.
