Does a daughter have rights in ancestral property?
My grandfather property is still in his name and did not make any will and settlement deed. he died in the year 1975, my grandmother died in the year 1984. Legal hair is one son and two daughters. The two daughters did release deed to his brother in the year 1991. The son having two sons and two daughters. IN 1994 the son and his two sons, sold 42cent out of 60cent of grandfather property to someone without knowledge of his two daughters. The daughters were married in the year 1984 and 1990 respectively. Son died in the year 1999. And his wife is alive till. The sold of property is comes to know to his two daughters in the year 2023 June. Please tell the legal rights of two daughters and his wife on the property with reference of act in the year 1989 of Tamil Nadu and the year 2005 of Central Government. And limitation act.
