How the properties are to be divided among the heirs?

We are 4 brothers. We have a house property at Tirupati, A. P., originally purchased by my great grand father in 1960. Later on, it was relinquished by all the legal heirs in my father's favor in 1980. Thus, my father became the absolute owner of the property. He transferred the 50% of land in this property to me by way of a Gift Deed in 2002. There were 3 house properties in the remaining land and my father transferred the remaining land and the 3 houses on it to my other 3 brothers in 2013 by way of partition deed. Now, pls clarify, who should have possession of parent documents dated 1960 & 1980, There is no other dispute among our 4 brothers. Only issue i want to get clarified is should I hold the Original link documents with me, being the 1st independent property owner. (through gift deed of 2002) or is that OK, if it remains with my any other brother?
