Is verbal partition of property legally valid?
There is oral division in my family in 2007.my uncles gave us a land in our ancestral property and they told that you can make your home there. Now when I made a home there they refuse and telling that there is not registered partition so we also have equal part in that home. What to do?

If there is an oral partition of ancestral property in India, it is valid. However, it is difficult to prove in a court of law.
