Lost sale deeds of parents & grandparents
I have lost sale deeds of my late parents agricultural lands in Muzaffarpur Bihar but through land surveyor and revenue officials I was able to get khata and khesra number of the agricultural lands. But when I went to registry office the official said beside khata and khesra and village name they also need year of registry that I don't remember exactly so they are telling it will be very difficult task to search the sale deeds records that are 20 years and more old. I need proper legal advice regarding this matter that if I don't know deed number, volume number, and year of registry only I have village, khata, khesra details of the agricultural lands how we can get certified duplicate copies of sale deeds?

if the sale deed is lost then it can be recovered from the land revenue department of you concerened area there only you can get the certified copy of the sale deed of your land.
