Tenant threatening landlord for rent dispute
We are lan lord from TamilNadu. The tenant is part of SC community. We are part of BC community. The tenant is not paying rent and not vacating the house as well. When we said we will put eviction - wilful default case, he is threatening us that he will file a case under SC/ST act against us. Im a single lady as my husband is no more. What are the legal option I have now? Will I be arrested without any investigation and sent to jail, if the tenant accuses me falsely?

if there is the rent agreement between you and your tennant send a eviction notice to the tennant and give prescribed to settle all the dispute and if they evict then its ohk if not then go and lodge a eviction suit against him.
