What are the legal actions that can be taken against an illegal construction?

A hut is constructed illegally on the road opposite to my house ( past 30 years). Road is 30 ft width while the hut occupies 22 ft. We are facing so much trouble due to the encroachment.What is the fast and best legal recourse to evict them and demolish the hut

If the hut is constructed in your premises then you can send a legal notice to him to relocate his/her house and if they denies then you can file a case of encroachment against him
