What documents are required for property registration?

We have an apartment registered in Joint name father & son. Father is the first owner & has the due consent of his son for sale of the apartment. The apartment is registered in Bangalore, ( Karnataka) As son is residing abroad, what documents /process is required for registration of property in favour of buyer, without son having to undertake travel to make himself available. Can POA by son who is abroad, will suffice. if yes, how to execute the same.

Yes, a Power of Attorney (POA) by the son who is abroad will suffice for the sale of the apartment. The POA should be executed in accordance with the laws of the country where the son is residing.
