What is the rule of exchange of property?

There are two flats one in name of my late father flat 3A and other in name of my uncle flat 3C , but we are staying in opposite persons flat , In short I m staying in my uncles house and my uncle is staying in my house since years. Kindly provide the solution ? Apart from switching the flat
