What should I do if someone else has fraudulently registered their ownership on land records which originally belong to me?

I bought a farm land a year ago from a farmer, which is also registered and the boundary is fixed and shared with me, now I received a notice stating the farmer took loan from me and registered the land on my name as he couldn't mortgage and he need the land back as he returned the loan amount with interest. We have scraped the agreement of sale as the property is registered how ever I have a photocopy. The notice has false information and want to take legal action against.

i) Gather all the evidence includes original registration documents and proof of the sale, notice you received with false information.

ii) File lawsuit for quiet title This seeks a court order confirming your ownership of the land and preventing the farmer from making further claims.

iii) Criminal complaint for fraud: If the farmer's claim is found to be deliberately false and intended to deceive you, you may have grounds for a criminal complaint. Contact us on helpline number to consult a lawyer specialize in real estate and property law.
