In his judgment, Justice NK Modi said that many young girls suddenly leave home and disappear after reaching their teens and get married in the Arya Samaj temple and get a certificate of marriage easily. Social problems are being created due to such marriages without the consent of parents and prior notice to them. For this reason, the High Court has tightened the rules for such marriages. Now it will not be easy to marry with Arya Samaj system.

6 days before getting married in the Arya Samaj temple, the couples' parents will have to be informed. Along with this, the information will also have to be given in the concerned police station. it has to be decided that at the time of marriage, 5-5 families should be present on behalf of the young man.

The court has also ordered to paste the copy of the notice in the police station. This order has been implemented in Punjab, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, but this rule is not yet applicable in Delhi NCR, so marriages are being done here in the old ways.

Marriage without changing your religion

A couple who have different religion can also get married in India legally under the Special marriage act. Which was initiated by the government of India for the couples who have different religion and does not want to change their religion?
