IPC Section 119 - Public Servant To Commit Offence

IPC Section 119 states that - 

Explanation-

This section provides punishment to the public servant who has concealed a design to commit the offence which he had to prevent. The servant would be punished with imprisonment given in the section. 

Illustration-

A, a police officer, who gives the information of all designs to commit robbery, B designs to commit robbery, the police officer has given the information which intended to facilitate the function of that offence. Here A has by an illegal breach screened the continuation of B’s design and is liable to punishment according to the provision of this section.
