IPC Section 18 - Meaning Of "India"

Section 18 of the IPC states that - the region and territory of India, excluding Jammu and Kashmir under this act.

• After the removal of Article 370, which removed the special status of the Jammu and Kashmir, has led to the application of this act to the whole region of India.
• This section will help you to easily understand the Indian Penal Code.
• Wherever the term "India" has been used, we can conclude that it means all over the territory of India including Jammu & Kashmir.
