IPC Section 19 - Meaning Of "Judge"

IPC Section 19 states that - the term "JUDGE" means not only the person who is officially appointed as a judge. But also, a person who is authorized by law with all the powers to make the decisions & judgments.

• "Judge" means a person who is authorized by law or any authority to give any judgments on civil or criminal proceedings.
• The judge can initiate the legal proceedings of civil and criminal cases.
