IPC Section 72 - Punishment Of Person Guilty Of Offences

IPC Section 72 states that - a person who is guilty of several offences & judgment states that it is doubtful of the offences, will get the lowest punishment.

• In all cases in which a judgment is held that a person is guilty of one of several offences specified in the judgment.
• But,  it is doubtful that he is guilty of which of these offences.
• The offender shall be punished for the offense for which the minimum punishment has been provided.
