With the increasing cyberspace and the globalisation of the world, with the occurrence of the Internet, the world is becoming more welcoming to more opportunities in the market thus, it is easier to get in the trap of frauds. There are two sides of a coin if we are growing our business with the help of the internet, we are also risking the other side to fall in the hands of fraud. 

 

Cybercrime is a crime that is fulfilled with the help of cyberspace or we can say online space. When there is a fraud happened through the internet then it is said to be cybercrime. This involves frauding people with many fake offers that lead them to have access to their bank details that would definitely result in the loss of money.

Steps To Register For Cyber Crime In India

 

Step1- Keep a record of every detail related to the crime and the email addresses, Mobile numbers along with an application letter addressing the head of the Cyber cell when you go to file the complaint. 

 

Step2- When you will go to file the complaint you need to carry the following documents.

 

  1. Server logs
  2. A copy of the defaced page on the web in the soft copy and hard copy also, if the victim's website is defaced on his computer, soft copy of original data and soft copy of compromised data.
