Privacy Policy
Lead India Law Private Limited ("Lead India"/ “Company”/ “we” / “us”) is a technology-powered integrated platform for providing legal advice and enabling delivery of the complete spectrum of legal services utilizing its Platform.Based on the representations made by the Associate and in order to enable the Lead India Clients to avail the services, the Parties have agreed that (i) Lead India shall authorize and provide Associates the access to Platform, and (ii) Associates shall provide the Services to the Lead India Clients.
1. Definitions
As used in this Agreement, the terms and expressions when used with the First letter capitalized shall, unless the context otherwise requires, have the meanings assigned to them hereunder. All capitalized items not defined in Clause 1 shall have the meanings assigned to them in the other parts of this Agreement when defined by use in bold letters enclosed within quotes:
- “Applicable Laws” means any laws, bye-laws, legislations, statutes, regulations, rules or orders, administrative interpretations, writs, injunctions, directions, directives, judgments, arbitral awards, decrees, orders or governmental approvals of, or agreements; as amended, modified, consolidated or replaced, from time to time.
- "Agreement/Main Agreement" mean this Agreement together with all the recitals, annexures, exhibits, parts, schedules and policies, as the same may be amended, modified, and supplemented from time to time in accordance with the terms and conditions.
- "Lead India" refers to the legal entity – "Lead India Law Private Limited”, an entity of lawyers that provides various specialties of legal services through skilled lawyers.
- "Associate" means a lawyer who utilizes the Lead India’s Platform and provides Services to the Lead India’s Customer.
- “Authorized Persons” mean persons authorized by Lead India to represent on its.
- “Brand Features” means trade names, trademarks, logos and/or other distinctive brand features (as applicable).
- “Lead India Officer(s)” mean the employee(s)/ consultants/ advisors of Lead India and/or any other personnel engaged or authorized by Lead India.
- “Customer”/ “Clients” means a Customer of Lead India (including a user of Platform) who avails or desires to avail Associate’s service.
- “Confidential Information” means information disclosed by (or on behalf of) Lead India to the Client or vice- versa under (or in connection with) the services rendered or provided that is marked as confidential or would normally under the circumstances or under applicable laws be considered confidential information, including but not limited to information pertaining to theCustomer(s), the Lead India Platform.
- Confidential Information does not include information that (a) the recipient already knew without the breach of any confidentiality obligations, (b) becomes public through no fault of the recipient, (c) was independently developed by the recipient, or (d) was lawfully given to the recipient by a third.
- “Services” here are referred to as list of services that Lead India is providing to the Clients / Customers. The list is mentioned on our website.
2. Applicability
This Privacy Policy applies to all of the services offered by the Lead India and its affiliates. This Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to services that have separate privacy policy that do not incorporate this Privacy Policy.The privacy policy of the Company is being issued in compliance to the Information Technology Act and Applicable Rules.
Lead India takes your privacy seriously. We have made our policy as clear as possible so that you can rest assured that you are in good hands, except, Services offered by other companies or individuals, including products or sites that may include Lead India services, as displayed to you in search results, or be linked from our web pages/ mobile application.
3. Collection of Information
- We automatically track and collect IP addresses, domain servers, type of web browsers, computers and domain servers used to access the site, referring source to the site and your interaction with the site and the browser. (Collectively “Traffic data”).
- Even if you do not register for any of the webinars or bootcamps, you might choose to provide us with information — like an email address to receive updates about our services and newsletters.
- We collect information about the apps, browsers, and devices you use to access our platform, sessionsand other services which help us provide features like automatic product updates. Device details we collect to provide verified access to our service portals.
- The information we collect includes unique identifiers, browser type and settings, device type and settings, operating system, mobile network information including carrier name and phone number, and application version number. We also collect information about the interaction of your apps, browsers, and devices with our services, including IP address, crash reports, system activities with date and time.
4. Collection of Sensitive Data
We do not save any of your bank or card related information that you are required to provide at the time of making online payments or registrations or bookings. However, the third- party service providers being the payment gateway obtaining online payments and or any financial institutions may collect and preserve your financial data as per their own requirements and regulations.
5. Website Analytics
We may use third party website analytics services in connection with the Site. These website analytics services do not collect Personal Information that you do not voluntarily enter into the Site. These services do not track your browsing habits across websites, which do not use their services. We are using the information collected from these services to find usability problems to make the Site easier to use.The recordings will never identify you or your account.
6. Storage of Information
We store all Traffic Data and review postings indefinitely, even after “deletion,” and may archive such information elsewhere. We store all Personal Information until you request that we modify or delete it, in which case we may still end up retaining some of that information, as it may be impossible to remove your account without some residual information being retained by us.
7. Use of Data Collected
Your data is shared with third party service providers if required, associates and independent contractors after signing proper non-disclosure agreements, only for the purpose of providing you with complete service experience.
8. Retention of Data
We retain your Personal Data for the purposes for which it was collected. The length of time to retain Personal Data depends on its use and being compliant with applicable laws, to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights. Further, we may also delete your data prior to completion of the period of retention, once the purpose of such collection remains fulfilled.
9. How Information Will Be Used
Personal information like your case history (optional) is collected when you start a new consultation request. These are saved in your account for future reference and future consultation requests.These details in conjunction with your questions are shared with Consulting Lawyers to help them answer your questions to the best of their knowledge.
We may also use your de-identified Personal Information to run (or authorize third parties to run) statistical research on individual or aggregate trends. Such research would only use your Personal Information in an anonymous manner that cannot be tied directly back to you.
Primarily your email will be used to:
- Provide to you the services offered by the Site
- Customize and improve your experience
However, in other instances, non-personal information collected may be used for statistical analysis, improvement of services, and customization of web design, content layout and services.
10. Security
You make the choice of making your data available to Associates. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information. For example, we use multiple layers of firewall security and different degree of encryption for your sensitive personal data.
Our employees and Associates may share case information with each other for payment and operational purposes, only in order to provide efficient professional services.
Your personal data may in some situations be seen by third parties, such as Associates or operations and maintenance contractors repairing and maintaining our technical systems. The respective contracts require businesses to protect the information we share with them. We will share your case information when required to comply with court order or other legal process.
In the unlikely event if your Personal Information has been disclosed in a manner not in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of the nature and extent of the disclosure (to the extent we know that information) as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by law.
11. Updates and Changes to This Privacy Policy
Protecting your privacy online is an evolving area, and Lead India is constantly evolving to meet these demands. We therefore reserve the rights to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page only.
