Legal Notice for non-payment of salary

It is been a year and my EX-employer did not pay my salary for the month of Oct 2022. Do I still have a window to draft a legal notice and demand my salary? I have Bank statements and an employment letter. What are the charges?

Yes, you still have a window to draft a legal notice and demand your salary from your ex-employer, even though it has been a year since you left the company. The time limit for filing a complaint under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, is one year from the date the cause of action arose, which in your case is the date on which your salary was due.
